UPDATED: As of 12/21/2020, we have all the side dishes and monetary contributions we need. Thank you for your generosity!
The ONA is continuing the annual tradition of delivering holiday meals for Fire Stations 3 & 11 and the Garland Police Department.
Fire Stations: Food for the fire stations will be supplied by the Oakridge Daytimers. We are thankful for their gracious contributions year after year!
Garland Police: With a considerably larger staff than the fire stations, the Garland Police Department has to think carefully about the healthiest way to distribute food in the midst of a pandemic. With that in mind, they have requested boxed meals (i.e., individual meals that can be reheated). We are asking Oakridge residents to supply the side dishes for the Garland Police Department.
An Oakridge resident has generously volunteered to prepare the main dish (ham) and will assemble the boxed meals ahead of time for the police department. All side dishes need to be dropped off at his home (2929 Oak Springs Drive) on December 23rd.
